Stein Holding Contest
🍻🍻 Hofbrau Stein Holding Contests at Loopy's! 🍻🍻 Join us this summer for your chance to win at Masskrugstemmen! Sign up here: 723loop.com/stein-holding-contests
This challenge is a Bavarian sport consisting of lifting of a liter mug of beer. The “Masskrug”, a 1-liter Stein, is to be held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel to the floor – the goal is simple: to hold the Stein up as long as possible. It’s a balance between the right technique and strength. The full 1-liter “Mass” weighs about 5 lbs.!
Loopy’s will be holding local competitions on June 19th, June 26th, July 10th, and July 17th. Finals will be on July 24th. $10 entry gets you a FREE stein to keep and filled with Hofbrau.
Competitions start at 7pm. Men's & Women's heats with a MAX of 20 competitors per category per date. Loopy's Winner gets a trip to New York to compete in September (9/18-9/20). Winner in New York then goes on to Munich!

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to meet so many incredible people who have become friends, regulars, and part of the Loopy's family. Turning 60 feels like a pretty good excuse to get everyone together for one unforgettable weekend, and I'd love to see you there.

🚣 Join me for a float down the Chippewa River! We leave at 11:00 AM, and all tubing proceeds will be donated to the Lori Kleich Foundation.
After we get off the river, we'll head back over to 1917 Lake Wissota, where Denny Menter will be playing live from 3:00-6:00 PM to wrap up the weekend.
Whether you've known me for decades or just met me this summer, I'd truly love for you to come celebrate with us. Stop by for a cold beer, some good food, live music, a river float, or all of the above. It wouldn't feel right celebrating this milestone without the people who have made the last 60 years so special.
I hope to see a lot of familiar faces—and maybe a few new ones, too.
